Cajun Sausage & Pepper Flatbread

Bold Cajun sausage and sweet bell peppers on a crispy flatbread — cut it into squares for a party or slice it into strips for an easy weeknight pizza night. Either way, that bubbly cheese is what does the heavy lifting.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Cajun Smoked Sausage thinly sliced
  • 1 large store-bought naan or flatbread or pizza dough rolled thin
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or roasted red pepper sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 green bell pepper cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 red bell pepper cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat. Heat the oven to 425°F.
  • Build the base. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet. Spread the sauce evenly to the edges.
  • Layer up. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the sauce, then arrange the sausage slices and pepper strips across the top.
  • Season. Dust with Cajun seasoning.
  • Bake. Slide into the oven for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden.
  • Slice and serve. Garnish with parsley, then cut into squares or strips and serve immediately.
