Ingredients
16ozApple Pie Sausagesliced into rounds
2cupsprepared pancake batteryour favorite mix
2applesdiced (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
1teaspoonground cinnamon
2tablespoonbutterdivided
Pure maple syrupfor serving
Instructions
Cook the pancakes. Cook pancakes according to the package directions. Stack and keep warm under a tea towel.
Brown the sausage. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium. Add the sausage and cook 3–4 minutes per side, until browned.
Add the apples. Push the sausage to the side, add the remaining butter, and toss in the diced apples and cinnamon. Cook 3–4 minutes, stirring, until the apples are soft and lightly caramelized.
Build the bowls. Set 2–3 pancakes in each bowl. Spoon the sausage and apples over the top. Drizzle generously with maple syrup.
