16ozApple Pie Sausagecasings removed and crumbled
2boxes15 count each mini phyllo pastry shells, thawed
8ozcream cheesesoftened
2tablespoonpowdered sugar
1/2teaspoonground cinnamon
1/4cupcanned apple pie fillingchopped small
Caramel saucefor drizzling
Instructions
Brown the sausage. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cook the crumbled sausage in a skillet over medium 5–7 minutes, until browned. Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly.
Whip the cream cheese. Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cinnamon together until light and fluffy.
Fold in the filling. Stir the cooled sausage and chopped apple pie filling into the cream cheese mixture.
Fill the cups. Arrange the phyllo shells on a baking sheet. Spoon about 1 heaping teaspoon of filling into each.
Warm them up. Bake 8–10 minutes, just until heated through and the shells are crisp.
Drizzle and serve. Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve warm.
