Brown Sugar Glazed Sausage Skewers

These two-bite skewers are sticky, sweet, and impossible to put down at a party. The brown sugar in the sausage and the glaze double up into a glossy lacquer that caramelizes in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Bacon & Brown Sugar Smoked Sausage sliced into 1-inch rounds
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Wooden skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat. Heat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  • Mix the glaze. Whisk the brown sugar, Dijon, apple cider vinegar, and smoked paprika in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Skewer up. Thread 3–4 sausage rounds onto each skewer. Lay them on the baking sheet and brush generously with the glaze.
  • Bake. Roast for 15–18 minutes, flipping once and re-glazing halfway through, until the sausage is glossy and caramelized.
  • Serve warm. Plate them up — they'll go fast.
